The first season of the grand tour was a bit like marmite: Some liked it and some hated it. With Top Gear beginning to win fans back to the fold the second season of the Grand Tour needs to step up to the mark.
During an appearance on the UK’s One Show Captain Slow, James May, let the viewers know that “October is when you’ll first be able to see it but after that, you’ll be able to see it whenever you want, of course. I’m told to say that!”. Although he kept the rest of the details close to his chest but did say that “quite an expensive show to make.” As he explained “There’s a lot of travel involved. There’s a lot of crew involved. There’s a lot of techs involved, filming in 4K.”
May also point out that they have listened to the public and promised that changes are coming. Saying “It’s going to look largely the same”, the former Top Gear host confirmed, “we’ve moved it on a bit in a way.”
